Kidz Night Out - Save the Date - the next Kidz' Night Out is scheduled for Friday, April 12, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.  Kidz' Night Out is a FREE program for children in Grades 2-6.   It will be a fun night with a Bible-based lesson, a fabulous craft, games that are really fun, and a snack.   Mark your calendars -- so you can get in the "KNO".

Maundy Thursday Service

April 18th, 7:00 p.m.

 

Maundy (which means 'mandate') Thursday somerbly elebrates the evening that Jesue spent with His disciples just prior to His crucifixion. 

Join us in Fellowship Hall at 7:00 p.m. as we focus upon the price of Jesus' love through music, His Word and partaking of the Lord's supper. 

 

Good Friday

April 19

 

Jesus was crucified betweeen the hours of noon and 3:00 p.m. 

If you can take advantage of the opportunity, the sanctuary will be open and heated so that you can come and quietly pray, reflect, read and worship.

 

Easter Sunrise Service

Sunday, April 21

 

Join us at Slater Park (across from the Carousel) at 7:30 a.m. to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior. 

You are encouraged to come prepared to share a few words of praise and thanksgiving (perhaps a poem or verse from Scripture).

After the Easter Sunrise service, you are invited back to Darlington Congregational Church in Fellowship Hall for a delicious Easter breakfast.  

The breakfast will be served at approximately 8:15 a.m. (Please note: a free will offering basket will be available.)

 

 

Easter Morning Worship

Sunday, April 21st - 10:30 a.m.

 

Invite your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to join us at 10:30 a.m. to worshp our risen Lord. 

The service will include a special sermon for children.

(Please note: there will be no Sunday School or Coffee Hour on Easter Morning) 

 

Adult Sunday School - Bible study on Moses and the burning bush has now begun for the Adult Sunday School class.  There will be a DVD by R.C. Sproul with class discussion. Remember Adult Sunday School is held on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m.  All are welcome to attend.

Bible Study There is no better way to warm your soul then by studying the life of Jesus! To that end, you are invited to join us in a study of the Gospel of John.  Special emphasis will be placed on seeing how Jesus is the fulfillment of the Old Testament temple, its sacrifices and all of the Old Testament feasts.  The study will be offered on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m.and Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m.; and Sunday afternoons at 4:00 p.m. Please plan to join us as we study the word of God.

 

Saturday Morning Prayer - "Methinks every true Christian should  be exceedingly earnest in prayer concerning the souls of the ungodly, and when they are so, how abundantly God blesses them and how the Church prospers."  C.H. Spurgeon.  Join us on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month at 8:00 am in Pastor Burnock's office as we pray for the Lord to bless our outreach efforts for Local Light and at home, work and with our neighbors.

Prayer Requests - If you would like a prayer request placed in the bulletin, please call the church office by 9:00 am on the preceding Friday.  We would also appreciate updates and when to remove the request from the list.
