"But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus."
2 Timothy 3: 14-15 (ESV)

9:00 am

Join us on September 16th, as we study the life of Samson from the book of Judges.
Samson was a man of incredible strength and debilitating moral weakness and yet was used by God to rescue Israel from the Philistines.
Our goal will be to glean lessons of faith and godliness from Samson's Life.

"What comes into your minds when we think about God is the most important thing
about us" A.W. Tozer

Behold Your God: The Weight of Majesty" is a 13 week study, (Using a DVD by John Snyder) that is designed to discover and explore the ultimate question: "Who is God?"  This study is both challenging and intensive.  Each "Student" will be provided with a workbook that contains five daily devotional studies to be individually explored before the group study.  Each week will cover one major attribute of God's being, with application as to how it should all make a difference in our live.

The classes themselves will include a teaching video, with special focus on the lives and ministries of historic figures such as Hudson Taylor, Anne Judson, and John Newton.  Follow-up discussion will be an important component to our learning and growth.  Classes will be 90 minutes in length.

A voluntary donation of $18.00 is encouraged to cover the cost of the workbook, however, please do not let this expense keep you from taking a workbook and participating in the study.  Funds have been given for those who cannot afford a workbook which will be handed out at the first class.

Please sign up on either bulletin board so that workbooks can be ordered (or call the church office) and please indicate which class you are most likely to attend.
